The Region One Board Meeting … if you want the facts and not the WHDD tilt …
One item that is promised on the agenda is a discussion of email and … well … here it is as I quote from the Waterbury Republican American (article by Ruth Epstein) dated 2/4/2012 …
Chairman Philip Hart said board conduct will be addressed at Monday’s board meeting. The topic of Toensing’s emails on various topics already was on Monday’s agenda after the Canaan school board announced plans to file a letter of protest against her, and local boards in Sharon and Kent said they were considering whether to voice concerns.
Had the reporter attended the Salisbury board meeting (1/23/12) she would have known the same consideration was discussed. (I was there)
My simple point … if you truly care about the Region One School district you will try to attend this meeting.
Otherwise you will be subjected to reporting that will look like the following:
The Waterbury Republican American – Reporting which will reflect a tilted perspective in favor of certain Board members and of course the ‘smallest minded’ NPR station in the Nation, WHDD.
WHDD – The distorted and often fact less reporting of Marshall Miles, fully supported by his largest financial contributor and cohost, Jill Goodman. Don’t forget their relentless ‘trashing’ of the Region One School District since August, 2010.
The Lakeville Journal – This reporting will contain minimal detail and will certainly not have any ‘follow up’ from an investigative point of view … take it as you will!
I am sure the usual suspects will appear to trash the Region One administrators, Superintendent Chamberlain and Assistant Superintendent Goncalves. This will include Marshall Miles and his good friend Pat Mechare, First Selectman of Falls Village. Goodness knows who else this duo will entice to join them in their never ending campaign designed to highlight their own lackluster careers.
However, rest assured that you can find the truth at this blog and not have to rely on the ‘wedded’ media, lest we not forget that WHDD, The Waterbury Republican American, and The Lakeville Journal all sing and dance together at least once a week on that narrow beam which pollutes the air from Sharon Connecticut.
